Recipe by yours truly as found in my latest book The Ultimate Male Solution
- 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk, organic
- 1 small granny smith apple, diced
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
In a small pot, place quinoa, water and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and cover on simmer for 15 minutes or until most of the water has been absorbed. Add milk and continue simmering uncovered for an additional 10 minutes. Stir in apple, blueberries and walnuts. Let sit, covered for 10 minutes before serving.
If you choose to add maple syrup, drizzle on top.
